A construction company built on what holds everything else up.
Groundwork Construction was founded in Harare on a simple observation: most building problems start below ground and most client problems start with a lack of communication. We set out to fix both.
Our approach
Plan properly. Build carefully. Report honestly.
We take on residential, commercial, renovation and civil work across Harare, and we manage each one the same way: a measured site visit, a written scope and programme, stage-by-stage delivery with inspections before every payment, and a single accountable manager throughout.
Our teams are led by experienced tradespeople and supervised daily. Specialist trades such as electrical, plumbing and roofing are coordinated under one programme, so clients are never left chasing five different people. For clients who cannot be on site, including Zimbabweans building from abroad, we provide weekly photo and video reporting and photographed records of every purchase.
